The fortunate geography of the Republic’s founding member states has allowed its citizens to avoid most of the damaging effects of the deteriorating planet. They believe new mitigation technology can slow the trend enough for humanity to survive. Republic forces attack the damaging operations of other factions and attempt to enforce new mitigation standards.
