Spearpoint 1943 Village and Defensive Line Map Expansion is an Origins award-nominated expansion for either base game of Spearpoint 1943 from Collins Epic Wargames. This expansion adds a layer of depth to Spearpoint including a two-sided WWII Italian-themed Village / Defensive Line map with 4” terrain tiles, 8 scenarios with 8 short stories by Mark H. Walker, large 1" tracking counters, rules booklet, and quick reference and score cards. The terrain sets up differently with every game and adds elements of line of sight, movement, options to target buildings and fortifications or enter them for enhanced defense. Combined with Spearpoint deck construction, every game is unique. Play scenarios set in an Italian Village in Summer 1943 or along one of many Defensive Lines during the harsh winter months of 1943. Follow along battles on the Italian front with an 8-scenario linked campaign as PFC Andy Migliore.

What Players Say:
"Adding the map expansion to Spearpoint 1943 turns a fast, fun, minimalist card game (these are good things) into a reasonably fast, fun, and challenging simulation. The improved visual impact of the two-sided map board with the feature tiles that enable every game to have a unique layout significantly enhances the "feel" of the game. Likewise, the addition of line of sight (LOS), movement, and a number of rule tweaks because of these new features have made this game much more "objective based" than the basic game. The eight included scenarios take this to another level as you march through a sequential and well-written fictional Italian campaign with PFC Andy Migliore." - Bill Fuller
“This expansion really takes Spearpoint 1943 to the next level. It's a lot of fun and easy to play.” - Charles Cabell
"You have a map that will dramatically change throughout the game when buildings are destroyed and the dynamics on the map change accordingly... The entire package- base game plus expansion- really works well. It feels seamless." -Marco Arnaudo
